Please talk with your child and let him or her know that it is important to learn about this devastating virus. Please sign and return!
Math students, continue to work through your check registers.

Fun at Field Day!

We had so much fun today! I am trying to upload pictures from $y phone, but I'm having some difficulty. I will continue to try while I'm waiting for my husband to get off work.
Progress reports went home today.
If you opted to have a full or partial refund from the field trip, it will be sent home by the end of next week.
We did not get a chance to finish the book "Thor."
I plan on finishing it on Monday.

Monday, April 25, 2011

There still are some students who still need to pay for the field trip on the Friday! Please bring in your money ASAP! Also, field day is $5.00.

Math homework- Record everything you use on your check register
Case 2 begins tomorrow!
We are reading Thor! It's a very interesting book of a man who had to learn the hard way on how to treat people with respect and kindness. But, most importantly, he had to learn to think things through before he act. He is a very impulsive guy.
Vocabulary and spelling test will be held on Thursday.
Tomorrow we are beginning our unit on Variables. This is a cool AMSTI unit on how variables can change the outcome of certain experiments.

Teacher appreciation day is coming up next week. You don't have to do anything for me. My biggest desire is to make sure your child tries their very best in school.
We had our first trial today. Each attorney (Jon and Tracilynn) did an excellent job in presenting their opening statements! Wish them luck in their efforts to try to with the jurors!
We will have a suprise guest speaker this Thursday. I did not tell the students because I wanted it to be a secret. However, if you know because you have been responsible to read this blog post, then you are lucky!! Don't tell anyone.
